Japanese food are among the most enthusiastic and passionate of any race. Most people who visits Japan tend to look forward on trying their food that can be considered as exquisite. Many parts of Japan are known for their own local specialties. The local specialties varies from fish, noodle, seaweed, sweets and more. Careful preparation and meticulous presentation are the important elements that plays a role in Japanese cuisine.

Rice has been a staple food for the Japanese for over 2,000 years and it forms the base of almost every meals available in Japan. The dish that are widely known as Japanese food will be sushi, which is a combination of rice and any type of protein that comes from the sea such as fish, squid or prawns and are wrapped with seaweed to present a delicious and healthy meal.

Japan is very proud of its four seasons and each season marks the beginning of variety of delicious offerings. Dishes usually reflects on what is available in the specific season the country is going through. The famous place to enjoy four of these seasons would be Kyoto as it is a great place to enjoy this wonderful treat for all the senses.

The Japanese focuses more on each and every detail of their food. They prefer their meals to be healthy in order to sustain energy for their daily living and to also encourages the use of fresh food to make sure that the food that are cooked will be exactly as how they want it to be.
